The funny, heart-warming sequel to the enormously successful Ladies' Day, following the lasses from Hull on their adventures down under.

After hitting the jackpot at Ladies' Day in York, the fish filleting foursome - Pearl, Jan, Shelley and Linda - are celebrating in style with the trip of a lifetime to the land of Oz.

While Shelley dreams of luxury and glamour, the rest of the gang decide to go native and camp out under the stars at Uluru. But Shelley soon discovers there's more on offer than posh hotels, stunning beaches and sun-kissed surfers; and Pearl finds that she's got a mountain of her own to climb...

LADIES DOWN UNDER CHARACTERS

Pearl – retirement age – Motherly, caring, a leader. Needs to do this trip for her own reasons.

Jan – 50’s – Pearl’s best friend, rather prim, generous with her money, a worrier, lacks confidence, not fashionable & very cautious.

Shelley – 30-40’s – Loud, brash, flashy without taste but still loves designer gear and men.

Linda – 50’s – Pals with Shelley but very different, thrifty and always comes prepared.

Tom – Aussie firefighter – (1 page)

Joe – Jan’s boyfriend – 50’s – Desperate to meet up with Jan in Aus (largest man’s part)

Bill & Ben – Flight attendants – OTT (4 pages)

Shane – A fit Aussie surfer – (6 pages)

Charlie – An English aristocrat dropout- any age – always high on spliffs (3 pages)

Danny – A traveller – age appropriate to Shelley- (20 pages)

Koala & Bondi Bitch – Drag  queens – (9 pages)
